Rules & Regulations
  1. All main participants must be aged 16 and above. Accompanying participant for the Power of 2 must be between7– 12 years old.
  2. Early bird registration ends on 31 December 2009.
  3. Event registration closes on 12 February 2010 or when all available slots are taken up, whichever is earlier.
  4. The Participant, refers to the person, who has entered to take part in Amore’s Women Day Out(AWDO) 2010, and is deemed to have given permission for the Organiser, that is the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) to collect, analyse and collate any personal information relating to herself as the Organiser may in their sole discretion deem fit, including without any limitation for the following purposes:
    For its programme, planning, data-processing, statistical or risk-analysis, research, fund-raising and/or in the case of the SSC the Organiser, any other purposes in the furtherance of the functions or powers of the SSC as provided for in the Singapore Sports Council Act (chapter 305).
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to refund/disqualify any participants, should they fail to comply with Rules and Regulations of the event.
  6. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel AWDO 2010 at any time, in which case they will make effort to inform the participant prior to the date of the event. The Organiser shall not be liable for any other losses or inconvenience caused.
  7. There will be no fee refund if the event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser and which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the event.
  8. Whilst reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure participants’ safety, participants take part at their own risk and the Organiser will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation at the event proper. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual event day.
  9. After registration, there will be no fee refund for participants who fail to take part in AWDO 2010 under any circumstances, for whatever reasons.9.   10. All participants shall collect their AWDO 2010 Event Kit consisting of a T-shirt and number tag on 27 and 28 February 2010. If participants are unable to collect the AWDO Event Kit in person, they may empower a duly authorised representative on paper to collect on their behalf. The Authorisation Form can be downloaded from www.womensdayout.sg. No late collection will be entertained. AWDO Event Kitsnot collected after the last collection date will be deemed unwanted, and the Organiser, shall be at liberty to dispose or re-distribute the contents of the kit accordingly.
  11. All participants shall collect their Event Bags on 6 March 2010 at the Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City. If participants are unable to collect the Event Bag in person, they may empower a duly authorised representative with their number tag and event bag slip to collect on their behalf. The Authorisation Form can be downloaded from www.womensdayout.sg. No late collection will be entertained. Event Bags not collected after the last collection date will be deemed unwanted, and the Organiser shall be at liberty to dispose or re-distribute the contents of the bag accordingly.
  12. All participants will only be entitled to one Event Bag regardless of the number of event categories they have signed up for.
  13. For event category, the Power of 2, only one Event Bag will be given to the main participant. The accompanying participant will not be entitled for any additional Event Bag.
  14. The Organiser reserves the right to remove/exchange/replace any items in the Event Bag at their sole discretion.
